Privacy

• A random visitor ID, generated in your browser and stored in localStorage, used only to count people online now and total visitors. It contains no personal information and never leaves your browser except in a heartbeat ping to our own server.
• Click events — each time a listing's link is used, we log the listing ID and a timestamp so the public click count stays accurate.
• Whatever is submitted at checkout — the URL or @handle, category, chosen amount, and an optional logo URL. This becomes public the moment the listing goes live.
• Standard server logs — request metadata like IP address and user agent, kept only as long as needed for security and abuse investigation.

We do not collect or store card numbers, bank details, or any other full payment credential. Checkout happens on Creem's hosted page — we only receive a signed confirmation that a payment succeeded, and the amount attached to it.

• Creem — processes payment and checkout; see their own privacy policy for what they hold.
• Google's favicon service — requested for a listing's domain when no logo is supplied; this sends that domain, not any visitor data, to Google.
• The destination site itself — when a link is submitted, our server briefly fetches its public page to read the title and description for the preview card. That request looks like any other visit to that page.

Listings, click counts, and payment records are kept for as long as the site operates, since they're the content of the board. Visitor IDs and server logs are kept only as long as needed for the live counters and abuse investigation, and are periodically cleared of anything inactive.

You can reset your own visitor ID at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site — you'll simply be treated as a new visitor afterward. To ask about, correct, or request removal of anything else we hold about you, DM @chandrahqro on X. We keep payment records for our own accounting and fraud-prevention obligations even if you ask us to remove the rest.

LOLWAR.LOL involves real payments and isn't intended for use by anyone under 18.

If what we collect changes meaningfully, this page will change with it. The version posted here is always the current one.
