Every listing has a hold value — the amount currently paid to keep it in its spot. Listings are sorted by hold value, descending. Nothing else affects rank.

If two listings have the same hold value, the one that has existed on the board longer ranks higher. This is the age of the spot itself, not how long its current listing has held it — a spot that's changed hands several times keeps the seniority it had when it was first created.

Each listing shows its hold value and its steal price. The steal price is always exactly 1.5× the current hold value — there's no bidding, no choosing your own amount. Pay it, and the spot is yours.

When a steal is confirmed, that spot's link, title, logo, and category are replaced with whatever you submitted. The hold value resets to the price you paid. The previous listing is gone — it isn't moved anywhere else on the board.

The click count shown on a listing counts visits to its current destination. When a spot changes hands, its click count resets to 0 — those clicks belonged to the previous listing.

Stealing isn't limited to spots you don't hold. Paying 1.5× your own hold value is the only way to raise your own listing's rank.

If your link has never been listed, you can add it for any whole-dollar amount starting at $1. That amount becomes its hold value and its starting rank.

If the link you enter already has an active listing, adding it again is blocked — you're shown that listing's rank and steal price, and directed to steal that spot instead of duplicating it.

Paste a product link and it becomes https://. Paste @yourname and it becomes a link to your profile on X. Bare words, IP addresses, and localhost are rejected — we need something that resolves to a real, dotted domain.

yoursite.com/product?ref=twitter and www.yoursite.com/product both resolve to the same listing: yoursite.com/product. Tracking parameters don't survive on the outbound link either.

Adding a new listing is priced in whole dollars, $1 minimum. A steal price is 1.5× the current hold value exactly, which can land on a fractional dollar amount (for example, a $3 hold has a $4.50 steal price).

Every charge runs through Creem, our payment processor. A listing is created or a spot changes hands only after a signed webhook from Creem confirms the charge cleared — not when the checkout page redirects back to this site. If that webhook never arrives, nothing on the board changes.

There are no refunds for changing your mind or being stolen from immediately after. The one exception — a payment that was charged but never resulted in a listing — is covered in the refund policy on the Terms page.

Clicking a listing's link routes through a redirect that logs the click, then sends the visitor on to the real destination. The running count is shown on the listing for anyone to see, and resets to 0 if the spot is stolen.

Every listing belongs to exactly one of 25 categories, chosen when it's added or when its spot is stolen.

The category filter on the homepage only shows categories with at least one listing. The Categories page lists all 25, including empty ones.

Counts distinct visitors whose browser has pinged this site in the last 45 seconds.

A running count of every unique visitor this site has recorded since launch. It only increases.
