Using LOLWAR.LOL — browsing the board, clicking through to a listing, or adding or stealing a listing — means you accept these terms. They're between you and the operator of LOLWAR.LOL (“we,” “us”).

Payment buys a position on a public leaderboard, for as long as nobody pays the steal price to take it. It does not buy traffic, sales, endorsement, or any guarantee that anyone will click the link. Exactly how rank and the steal price are calculated is on the Rules page.

A listing can be taken over by anyone who pays its steal price at any time. That is the product, not a bug — see the Rules page before you pay.

Payments are processed by Creem, our third-party payment processor. Purchases are final and non-refundable once a listing has been added or a spot has changed hands — including if that spot is stolen from you shortly afterward. That outcome is part of how the site works, not a service failure.

We will issue a full refund, and only in these cases:

• Your payment was captured but no listing was created or updated, due to an error on our end.
• You were charged more than once for the same submission because of a duplicate or failed checkout attempt.
• The payment was made fraudulently on your account by someone else, reported before the funds were spent operating the site.

To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of the charge with the email or account used at checkout and the approximate time of payment. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Creem and may take several business days to appear.

You may not submit a listing that:

• Points to illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to compromise a visitor's device or accounts.
• Infringes someone else's trademark or copyright, or impersonates a person or business you don't represent.
• Exists primarily to harass, threaten, or dox a specific individual.
• Uses an affiliate, referral, or tracking parameter in the submitted URL — these are stripped and won't be preserved on the outbound link.

We may remove a listing that violates the above, at our discretion, without a refund for the amount already spent reaching its position.

The site is provided as is, with no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from your use of LOLWAR.LOL is capped at the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms as the site changes. The version posted here is the current one; continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it. We won't change the refund policy retroactively against a purchase you already made.
